About

Global Goals Quest is an app-based team game built around the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals, the shared plan for a better future. Teams can play face to face, remotely or in a hybrid format across several locations.

After a short briefing on the goals, each team receives a tablet and starts the game.

Teams climb through levels by completing challenges, each one linked to a goal such as No Poverty, Zero Hunger or Climate Action. There are knowledge questions, puzzles, photo tasks and active challenges at several levels of difficulty.

The app guides every step as teams submit their answers, earn points and race up the leaderboard, learning along the way what each goal means and how everyday choices can make a difference.

Learning outcomes

Teams have to understand the game together and agree on a flexible strategy. They soon discover that innovative thinking and clear communication help them climb faster. Choosing which level to attempt next keeps every team discussing and planning.

Listening well and speaking up with ideas are both essential, especially when time is short. Because every challenge is linked to a real goal, the game sparks conversations about sustainability that continue long after it ends.

Trust grows as teammates recognize each other's strengths and work toward a bigger shared purpose: making the world a better place.

The game is fun and leaves people with a feeling of togetherness. Most importantly, participants walk away knowing more about the global goals and how small changes in their own habits can help.
