Why corporate groups love it

Cyclos are three-wheeled pedal rickshaws, with one guest (or two) sitting up front and the driver pedaling behind. They move at walking pace, so guests can take photos, wave to colleagues in the next cyclo and actually see the street life of the Old Quarter instead of watching it through a coach window.

It is a low-effort, high-impact experience: no fitness needed, no walking in the heat, and it works in a tight agenda. We often schedule it straight after the last conference session, or as the welcome activity on arrival day before dinner.

What we take care of

  • Cyclos reserved for your group, with drivers who know the route
  • A lead coordinator plus English-speaking guides for larger groups
  • A route planned around your hotel, venue or dinner location
  • Bottled water, and rain ponchos when the weather turns
  • Coach transfers if the start point is not within walking distance
  • Group photos at a stop by the lake (optional)

How it runs

  1. You share the date, group size and where guests will be before and after.
  2. We propose a route, a start time and how many waves your group needs.
  3. On the day, guests are welcomed, briefed and seated by our team.
  4. The convoy rides through the Old Quarter with a short stop for photos.
  5. Guests are dropped at dinner, the show or back at the hotel on schedule.

Route ideas

Every route is adjusted to traffic and your timing. A typical loop includes:

  • Hoan Kiem Lake and the red Huc Bridge
  • Old Quarter streets once named after the goods sold there
  • St. Joseph’s Cathedral
  • The French Quarter and the Hanoi Opera House

An evening route is cooler and the lights around the lake make it especially memorable.

Pairs well with

Private Water Puppet Show

Finish the ride at the theater for a show reserved for your group.

Street Food Trail

Step off the cyclo and continue on foot with a food host.

Gala Dinner

Arrive at the gala dinner in a cyclo convoy.

Questions planners ask

How many people can ride at once?

Each cyclo carries one or two guests. For larger groups we run the convoy in waves a few minutes apart, each with its own guide, so the streets stay manageable and everyone arrives together.

Is it safe in Hanoi traffic?

Drivers ride these streets every day and the convoy keeps to quieter routes where possible. Our team rides with the group and sets the pace.

Can we brand the experience?

Yes. Ask us about company caps, name signs on the cyclos or a branded photo stop. We include anything extra as a separate line in the proposal.

What if it rains?

Cyclos have covers and we bring ponchos. In heavy rain we move the slot, shorten the route, or switch to an indoor plan agreed with you in advance.
