Hanoi street food trail for corporate groups

Hanoi is one of the great food cities of Asia. Our hosts take your team through the Old Quarter in small groups, tasting the dishes locals actually queue for.

A team dinner nobody forgets

Instead of another hotel buffet, guests walk the Old Quarter in groups of around eight to twelve, each with a local host who orders, explains and keeps the group together. Small low stools, busy kitchens and new flavors break the ice faster than any seated dinner.

We can keep it relaxed or add a light challenge, with each group collecting dishes and photos on a tasting card. Dietary needs, such as vegetarian, halal-friendly or allergy-aware menus, are planned in advance.

What we take care of

  • Local English-speaking hosts, one per small group
  • A tasting route of several stops with pre-arranged dishes
  • Dietary requirements collected and planned in advance
  • Bottled water and a local drink at one of the stops
  • A lead coordinator to keep groups on time
  • Optional tasting-card challenge with a prize

How it runs

  1. You share your date, group size and any dietary needs.
  2. We plan routes and split your guests into small groups.
  3. Guests meet their host at a central point near the lake.
  4. Each group walks its route, tasting at each stop.
  5. All groups finish together for a final dessert or egg coffee.

Dishes your team might taste

The exact route changes with the season and group, and may include:

  • Pho, Hanoi’s famous noodle soup
  • Bun cha, grilled pork with noodles and herbs
  • Banh mi from a favorite street stall
  • Egg coffee, a Hanoi original
  • Seasonal fruit and sweet soups (che)

Questions planners ask

Is street food safe for our guests?

We choose established stalls and restaurants we know, with dishes cooked fresh in front of guests. Hosts also guide guests on what to try and what to skip.

Can you cater for vegetarians and allergies?

Yes. We collect dietary needs before the event and arrange alternative dishes at each stop.

How large a group can join?

Any size. We simply add more small groups and hosts, with staggered start times on different routes.

Is it a full dinner?

Yes. With several tasting stops, most guests finish comfortably full.
