About

Special Ops Briefcase is a high-tension themed business game. A series of video briefs sends your teams on a special operations investigation into a crime syndicate, with locked briefcases holding the challenges and resources they need.

Video updates arrive at set times throughout the program, just like real-time status reports, and a countdown timer shows how long remains before the next one.

At the center of the game is a briefcase with four locked compartments: Alpha, Bravo, Charlie and Delta. Each one, once opened, reveals new challenges and resources for teams to assess and solve.

Teams submit their findings through a secure tablet app linked to the operations team. With every update the pressure builds, and only well-organized teams keep pace.

Learning outcomes

Special Ops Briefcase challenges teams to think strategically and work in agile ways, connecting the right people and information at the right time. It feels like a real operations room from the first briefing.

Participants gain a real appreciation of how communication across functions supports leadership in changing situations and high performance under pressure. Teams soon realize that the right answer is no use if it arrives too late.

The countdown between briefs adds urgency, pushing teams to prioritize, delegate and decide quickly without losing accuracy. Clear roles and quick check-ins help them stay calm as deadlines approach.

The engaging theme and variety of challenges keep everyone involved and give teams a clear picture of their individual strengths, their dynamics and the real power of working together.

Frequently asked questions

What group size works best?

Anything from 10 to 500 guests, split into smaller teams.

How much time should we set aside?

Plan for around 1.5 hours.

Do we need any special knowledge?

No. Everything teams need is in the briefcase or the video briefs.

Where can it be held?

It works best indoors, in a meeting room, ballroom or function space with room for the teams.

How does the pressure build?

Video briefs arrive at set times with a countdown, so each compartment must be solved before the next update.
