Virtual World Rescue
One of you is inside the game. The rest of you hold the keys.

About
Virtual World Rescue sends your teams on a secret mission as ethical hackers. The night before, a young man tried a new virtual reality headset from a suspicious company and was pulled straight into the game world.
Your team’s job is to move between the virtual and real worlds, gathering clues to bring him back.
One person at a time wears the VR headset and describes the rooms and locks they can see. Teammates in the real world hold the solutions: a set of lock modules and a guidebook that opens the doors. Success depends entirely on how well they talk to each other.
Just when it seems the job is done, teams are sent to a second level, with the same rooms and much harder locks. A main screen shows every team’s progress, keeping the competition lively to the end.
Learning outcomes
Virtual World Rescue is a lean management game built on real-time collaboration and communication. Every second of unclear description costs the team time.
The more precisely the player in VR describes the problem, the faster the real-world team can solve it. Teams quickly see the cost of vague instructions, and they learn to ask better questions and confirm what they heard before acting.
The game has a steep learning curve. Feedback and continuous improvement help teams solve the second level far more efficiently than the first. Many teams cut their time dramatically once they agree on a shared way of describing what they see.
It is a powerful way to discuss the challenges modern businesses face, especially remote teams and those using agile methods, where clear communication across distance is everything.
