Starship Crime Scene
Search the starship, follow the evidence and solve the crime in deep space.

About
Starship Crime Scene is a murder mystery set aboard a space station, brought to life in high-definition virtual reality. Escape-room style problem solving keeps every team member involved from start to finish.
Teams share a VR headset, taking turns as the investigator while teammates outside keep track of the evidence and suggest where to look next. Nobody sits out for long, because the headset keeps moving around the team.
Together they must work out how, why and when a crime took place in deep space, searching level after level of an abandoned starship for clues.
Interactive features and atmospheric sound effects build the suspense as teams move into unexplored sectors, piecing together a trail of evidence until they can finally solve the case. It is a perfect mix of technology and old-fashioned detective work.
Learning outcomes
Starship Crime Scene builds leadership and teamwork under the pressure of competition and time.
Active listening and asking the right questions are the keys to success, especially when only one person can see the scene at a time. Teams soon learn to describe what they see precisely and to resist jumping to conclusions.
Teams use deductive reasoning, moving from the general to the specific, to link clues into a logical answer. With each turn in VR, the team gets better at telling the difference between what it believes and what is actually there.
The race to be first with the right answer at each level keeps everyone engaged and encourages positive, supportive behavior as each player does their best for the team. Teams leave buzzing and comparing theories.
