Grand Prix Garage
Build the car, design the livery and race for the podium.

About
In Grand Prix Garage, every team becomes a race team with a garage to run. The task is to build an almost full-size race car from a self-assembly kit within a tight time frame.
Once the car is built, teams turn their attention to style, decorating it with colors, sponsor logos and team branding so it stands out on the track. Some teams go for speed, others for style, and the best manage both.
Then race day arrives. Cars line up on the grid, the checkered flag waves and they are off, each with one driver at the wheel while teammates push it down the track.
Fast pit stops can make or break the result, so teams practice their routine before the big race. A podium ceremony crowns the top three teams in style.
Learning outcomes
Teams must allocate roles and tasks well and work closely across different skills so the build stays on plan and on time. Clear roles stop people getting in each other's way as the car takes shape.
It is a demanding project that needs commitment from every team member to succeed. Teams that plan their steps before they start building usually finish with time to spare.
Styling the car lets everyone show their creative side and put their stamp on the final design.
Because the race can be won or lost in the pits, teams practice and refine their process, learning how small improvements add up. The race fuels friendly competition, and the podium gives everyone something to cheer about. The finished cars are often as memorable for their style as for their speed, and teams love posing with them for photos.
